game went a bit flakey so i am trying to uninstall / reinstall

the securom bit is taking FOREVER! WD Raptor has been going full tilt for 35 minutes trying to remove it......sound about right?

Securom truly is cack!!!!

Doesn't usually take that long, something must be up with your system (if it was flakey anyway...)

DRM in general is cack, though I've never been inconvenienced by it (not by Securom or Starforce). Only annoyance is when internet activations run out and I have to wait several days to be given new ones... that's the main gripe I have - give me Securom/Starforce disk check any day but bugger off with these internet activations and date checks that Bioshock and GTA 4 (same publisher) have.
 
not pc issue, was Xtension i think , trying to force xfire upset it!

deleted oroginal files and did repair.....all gravy now :)
 
all the security they put in the games and they still always get cracked anyway, wish the developers would stop making us go through leaps and bounds just to play games!
