Hi everyone, I was having an issue with my HP Printer web services as I subscribe to HP Instant Ink, so I reset the printer and removed the HP Smart App from my Windows 11 Laptop & removed the Printer from the device manager.
After resetting the Printer I re-installed HP Smart App which wasn't working properly, so I uninstalled the App again and restarted the device. This time I went to devices and printers and searched for my HP Printer which Windows 11 successfully found and then I downloaded the HP Smart App once more and it said the Printer is already installed and will let me use the App as usual.
It's just that on one laptop it added the driver: HP - Printer - 31.1.2001.9295 on top of another driver: HP - Printer - 4/22/2009 12:00:00 AM - 10.0.17119.1, where as the other PCs don't have HP - Printer - 31.1.2001.9295 installed, only HP - Printer - 4/22/2009 12:00:00 AM - 10.0.17119.1 so I was just wondering why.
Everything is working fine, but I'm worried that the way I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers caused complications for Windows 11. Do I need to reset my Windows device?
