Ello. An old house mate has put Skype on the mrs' laptop which is really annoying as it must add about 2 minutes to the loading time of Windows 98SE (its a really old laptop!). However there is no option in the add/remove programmes in the control panel and there are no options in the start menu. Its been installed in the default location of 'programme files' by the looks of things.

Is there a way I can safely remove it? I.e will deleting the entire Skype directory kill the laptop or not as I can't think of much else I can do.

Cheers

No there is nothing in the directory to unistall it. Just stopping it loading on startup would be good but I can't see any options anywhere to disable startup loading.
