Uninstalling Vista

I want to install my second boot of Vista so I can use the space for a Linux install, I guess I can just remove Vista by formatting the partition, but how do I remove the Bootloader?

i just formatted the partition and the bootloader removed itself!! otherwise just use the repair console and type "fixboot"
