uninstalling win 7?

hi, feeling a little stupid having to ask this. in my folly and hurry i managed to install my (retail) copy of win7 on the wrong hard drive of a prebuilt system i just purchased off ocuk. i should have installed it on my ssd but didn't. it is now sitting on the wrong hard drive, and i've read you can't uninstall win7 unless there is a previous os. well, there isn't.

any thoughts? it is a single user retail copy.

sorry, i'm not very knowledgeable with any of this stuff. what do you mean exactly? i installed from a disk yes. how do i format?

is it important to boot/install win 7 on the ssd before formatting the current hard drive? i have no files on it anyway.

ok sorry for being an idiot but in windows it tells me to format i have to first create a partition. surely that isn't necessary if i don't want to keep any files? just want to be sure in case i mess something up

err, 931 gb. so i now in comp management and trying to format my c drive which is the main one. however when i right click said drive, the format option isn't selectable..any thoughts?

grr. this is really frustrating me now. so i have my ssd then my other hard drive with win 7 installed on it. however when i go to format this drive, the option just doesn't appear and yet the option to format does appear for my ssd drive which i haven't even used yet?

does anyone have any idea where i might be going wrong?
