Not sure where to post this, but I decided on GFX because it's a graphics card control center-related problem.
Basically I have two monitors. One of the two is physically about 2cm higher than the other monitor. However, I want to configure it so my mouse automatically crosses over at the right position.
I'm used to multi monitors so moving the monitor around was no big deal in windows, and it just happens that the smallest possible distance they can be from one another is exactly what it needs to be. (Any closer and it "snaps" them together). However this is not true in CCC. In CCC, the minimum possible distance between monitors before it edge snaps them together is quite a bit larger than what I need.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but stupidly enough, whenever I change something in CCC and hit apply, or when CCC loads after booting, the CCC monitor settings override the windows monitor settings, so I have to go back into the windows screen resolution setup, re-adjust my monitors, and then hit OK every time CCC changes it back.
Even when modifying the monitor positions in the profile .xml, it "snaps" them back *after* loading the values. (Confirmed this, after a certain value it reads the ini values perfectly but before that it snaps them to 56, the vertical pixel difference between my monitors - aligning them at the bottom edge).
Seems like it should be a trivial fix, but I can't seem to be figuring it out. Is there any way to disable the monitor "auto-snapping" feature in CCC?
To clarify, an image:
Edit: I could just put something beneath my monitor too though, now that I think about it.
...Yes I think I'll do that.
