Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo?
Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo?
out of how many that have.....
Exactly a VERY tiny percentage of those that come over fail to adapt
The worst thing about Shev was his age when he did come over, was always going to be a difficult task
Also it MIGHT be easier if we bought both Silva and Villa (not that its likely) but they could assist each other which would make any adaption easier
Hhhmmmm the top teams in the league, so that would be
Chelsea
Man Utd
Arsenal
Man City
Tottenham
I can almost certainly say that Berbatov would walk straight into the first team of both Arsenal, City & Spurs, O'Shea would also be a marked improvement for both City & Spurs and his versatility would be ideal for Arsenal, Carrick would also walk straight into the Arsenal, City & Spurs midfield, VDS is among the best 3 keepers in the league so would be a massive improvement over Almunia, Evans is one of the best young defenders in the league and Hargreaves when fit would also walk into the starting 11 of Arsenal, City and Spurs
What you actually mean is how many of our players would get in the Chelsea, Barcelona or Real Madrid teams which just proves my point about your sort who unless United can claim to have the best 11 in the world just **** and moan over and over and over again
Completely agree with this. As Real Madrid are showing this season, having the best 11 doesn't guarantee you success. This season was always going to be difficult, United lost two of their best players last season, and as a result the squad looks a bit weaker. Possibly the strengths of the first 11 when United still had Ronaldo and Tevez hid the weaknesses in the squad. I think it's over the top to suggest that 10+ players need to go as atpbx suggests. United do, however, need to face the realisation that they lack a truly creative midfielder, that Scholes, Giggs and Neville are getting on a bit (most obvious in Neville's performances IMO), and that Berbatov simply hasn't cut it.
I would bet Carrick will still be at OT next season, less certain about Berbatov though (unless we get Milner and Hargreaves has fully recovered) from the British quotiant if nothing else
Personally dont think anyone can even consider Hargreaves any blame - its not like he ever wanted to be injured, or didnt ever try to get fit again, to issue blame on him is pretty rich (and to sell him now just when he is included in a squad is stupidity beyond belief)
