Wow. Just wow. That looks incredible.
Amazing what you can do when hardware is utilized well.
Strange says its running on 980 in the full video and also the Unity website. http://unity3d.com/pages/adam
I've been involved with a couple of similar demos over the years, including one particularly infamous one.
I'd take it with a pinch of salt.
Nothing video games related these days, but I was very involved in the BBC's Rio Olympics trailer and intro that everyone will be sick of seeing by the end of August.Mind sharing some of your work?
Unless I see a guy with a mouse and keyboard moving one of those characters around then I call BS on anything like this.
Throw real time physics, AI, Sound core rendering into the mix and full movement of camera rendering the who environment (not just what they want you to see) and then see how it performs. nothing more than a showcase demo that will never transmit into games.
That's from June
Guess this is just AMD showcasing they can run it.
I don't really see the point myself, Here's a mid level Nvidia card running it last month, It's obvious the equivalent and faster AMD cards will run it, It just makes them look second rate if they all they can do is demo what's already been demoed, They should have there own material ffs.
It's madness to think how far this has come to render something like that real-time, go back to the making of Jurassic Park and didn't they have it rendering for months to complete.
