Hello i am a final year student and basically i missed the deadline for a dissertation as i could not find a supervisor and i have to now do an IT project which i am not that intersted in to be honest. I was wondering if anyone knew whether it was possible to do my modules this year and sort out my dissertation and just do that next year ?

It depends on your Uni's specific policy. You would need to ask them.

I highly doubt it though. You would need to be enrolled for an additional year, which would mean your LEA would have to pay another year of subsidy. I can't see them wanting to do this because you missed a deadline.

You're much better off asking your University and whoever pays your fees as we are unlikely to know the answers.

We're good, but we're not that good.

Another vote for asking your uni here. Find the person in charge of your course (was known as Course Leader at my university, imaginative I know ;)) and ask them. Universities want their money and they want as few dropouts and failures as possible as it keeps their figures higher so they will be quite likely to help you as much as possible.

Ask your uni. I work at a uni and I can't really help you, other than saying that if you were here then you would need serious mitigating circumstances for them to consider letting you do that. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
