University Query

i just wanted to know if a Uni would let me onto a motorsport technology foundation HND if i didnt have any motor qualifications on paper ?
But finishing a BTEC National Diploma in ICT next year.

it will depend entirely on the course, but i would have thought in 99% of cases yes, but they will probably require something, good maths, physics, technology history

I know someone who did it without any qualifications in cars or whatever, think he did do some engineering course(BTEC or AVCE), and he did a degree in it.

Yeah it said you had to at least have level 3 in keys skills subjects so I'm going to try and do my Level 3 Numeracy this year.

Call them as they may allow you entry without it, you never know until you ask.

Have you worked in the trade? Might sway it.

they may let you, it just goes off ucas points, unless you specifically need a portfolio of some sort. If you go onto an engineering course though maybe brush up on some core maths skills

I could be working at a local race engineering place soon to gain some experience, i would have thought this might sway them to let me go on.
