Hello guys,

First off i hope this is the most suitable place to put this thread, apologies if it isn't.

So my problem is, when watching online videos, youtube or any other flash videos, or when playing games namely BF3 my system graphics go into what can only be described as slow-motion. by that i mean, fps seem to drop to around 1-2 fps and it does this most of the time for a few seconds at the start of a game and the start of most videos.

Twice it has crashed the system when gaming, but gives no error codes, and when watching videos i've had a "flash player stopped working .R300" code, but unable to see what that means.

i'm using windows home premium 64 bit
Firefox as the browser, but i've tried other browsers and they are the same.
12 gb RAM, i7 960 cpu, gtx580 sli, 120gb force 3 ssd which runs bf3 too, g1 mobo, 1000w PSU.

When gaming in bf3, it runs at around 90-120fps fine, with gpu temps at a steady 55-60'c........CPU sits around 50'c under load.

I've tried updating all drivers, using old drivers too and it does the same.

I've tried my best to find a solution before coming here for help, in the hope someone might give me some idea as to what is wrong.

Thanks for listening/reading.

Rich.

So i did this test to see if there was any problems here, but not sure if the software would help detect the problem.

I'd suggest stress testing for a few hours using msi afterburner or something similar.

Maybe try them both individually if it fails with two, to rule out one being dodgy.
