Unknown program

Hi all hope everyone is keeping safe. I not very technical minded but my windows 10 pc screen was going blank for a few seconds after it booted up so I looked in the startup folder under task manager and there was a pice of software called flexnet so I disabled it from boot up now the pc boots normal. But could anyone tell me what this software is for and how I can uninstall it. Thanks in advance

I would check the programs and features section and see if it appears in the list to uninstall it.

I think it’s start button > settings ( the gears icon) and then Apps.

it should list everything installed and see if it appears in the list

I have looked in uninstall program but it's not listed.

I think you will find that Flexnet is part of some other software you have installed, it's to do with the licensing.
