Hi all

Just a quick question what do you recommend using, Unleaded + Redex or Super Unleaded? Its for my 1.8 Focus ;)

This is mainly for cleaning my engine not more power

thanks

What for? engine cleaning or power?

Best of using decent fuel to avoid deposits rather than trying to clean them up after, a tank full of BP ultimate now and then would be cheaper

Well mainly for cleaning but no one complains about a bit more power :p

Pretty sure the ECU will not adjust for anything other than 95ron on the Zetecs.

It will run on higher stuff fine (I actually had about 30% worse economy though) but it will not give any power increases.

Whats the costing now per litre of BP Ultimate? about 95p?
93p down here in Reading. Always seems one of the cheapest places in the country for some reason.

Just run some V-Power through it for 1 or 2 tanks. The V-Power should clean the tank as well for you. :)

I don't have a petrol car so I cannot comment but I use and perfer Millers Oils which I recommend. You can have high quality fuel and still add the additive.
