Unlink ipad from iphone

We have an ipad 2 and my sister has an iphone 5.

I think in order to apply an update she used her apple ID to download said update.

Now the ipad is recieivng the phones txt messages!

I have already logged her apple ID out of the ipad, but still the ipad is reciving the phones txt messages.

Any idea how to stop this?

On the iPad:

Settings - iMessage - Send & Recieve - untick her phone number.
