I have an AMD Athlon II X3 455 Processor - running at the stock 3.30GHz,

AND...

An ASUS M4N68T-M LE V2 which has a Core Unlocker.

I understand that you can unlock the 4th core if it has one. (Not all have them?)
But is it as simple as turning on the core unlocker feature in the BIOS?

I've also found this video in case it helps anyone.

Please can someone tell me how to do it?

Thanks :D

Yup pretty much, turn it on, if it has a working 4th core it will enable and boot.

On ASUS boards I think you have to enable 'Unleashing' as well, depends n the bios of your board.

If it's damaged, it'll either hand and you'll need to reset bios, or crash while booting, or be unstable in benchmarks/stress testing.

Generally it is as simple, but it may not be stable. May be better overclocking the x3 to about 3.6GHz if you have decent cooling by raising the bus clock to 218MHz.
