unlocked x2 550

what can i use to measure the temps now, I have a gigabyte board and am currently using the software that comes with it to get temp readings but thats does not seem to be very accurate.

From what i have read now that it is unlocked I can not read directly from the cores.

I normally use Coretemp or Realtemp to measure the temps.

realtemp is for intel only at the moment and coretemp does not show the cores when yoy unlock the x2 550 to the x4.

I was just trying to see if their is any thing else better than hardwaremonitor or the gigabyte easytune software.

Speedfan is ok, Download Everest Ultimate trial.

i think i'll just use the gigabyte one is it gives the same temp readings as speedfan and cpuid hardware monitor.

CoreTemp is what I use for monitoring temps on my AMD rig..

I don't know if the Gigabyte software is the same for AMD chips, but on i7 the temps it reports are way off.. I have also heard the same thing about Speedfan to, though I have never used it personally..

CoreTemp will give you pretty accurate readings for AMD chips though.
