I've been reading a lot about phase design on Motherboards and how they can be affected with overclocking and/or unlocking. Now, since my MoBo is 4+1, do you think it's good quality enough to unlock my 960T and overclock it a little? You see, reading up about VRMs and stuff has increased my cynicism and pessimism in OC'ing my CPU as I'm becoming increasingly paranoid about the motherboard crapping out on me and damaging everything else in my PC. I've had it at 3.6GHz for a while and it's been absolutely fine thus far.
Has anyone had any first hand experience with a 960T and a motherboard similar to mine when overclocking and unlocking? I'd just like to know if it's safe for an unlock and a light OC. Thanks in advance.
