I used to be with 3. When my old N80 died, I bought another one off ebay that was also locked to Three.

I have since moved to O2 and called Three and asked for them to unlock the phone (£15). They told me that the phone IMEI does not exist on their records and they cannot unlock it. Obviously being locked to Three you think they would have record of the phone.

Is there any way i can get this unlocked to use with my new network?

Hmm my local independent closed down. They used to be a repair centre too.

If i am correct, the Nokia n80 is one of a bunch of phones that only Nokia can unlock, hence the paying £15 to the network as they have to pay nokia.

Used to be, but the unlocking software has come a long way since then.
