wonder if anyone has come across this or infact done it with this particular set up AMD Phenom II X2 Dual Core 555 3.20GHz Black Edition using a Asus M4A78LT-M 760G motherboard?
think you gotta hav a board with 770 or greater,my 720 unlocks and runs good at a slightly lower overclock,think with a dual core you can unlock one or 2 cores also, if ur lucky
Well all I wanna do is unlock the cores I might have to see how much a 770 motherboard is with the same spe c as getting that cpu will save me 20 on the cost of a compatible quad core cpu
no one can answer your question, unlocking cores is more guess work than anything, best bet is just try unlocking at boot up, you might be lucky, you might not
