basically i bought a pre built pc from HP and i want oc my CPU

I have a intel i3 540 @ 3.07

but for some reason in bios it is all grey wont let me touch the settings need help

my mobo is MSI 2A9C

Unless you find a non HP bios for that board no. Then you'd also risk bricking the board

Don't think you would be able to, you may need to try a software program, but not 100% certain this would work.

Something like clockgen, never used it my self so can't comment on the abilities.
