Unlocking K750i

Hi guys,

Got a cheap K750i from a friend (he upgraded his contract) and bought some software and a Cruiser 4-in-1 cable to unlock it.

The software is Smart-USB SEMC 5.0.

The cable is installed using some TotalMultiServer drivers, but I can't get the phone to unlock.

I connect the phone, start SEMC, click the 'Clear SP Locks' box and click 'Do Selected Jobs'

5 seconds later the status bar fills up and this is displayed...

"Switch phone ON
Get phone info
Flash CID: 36
Phone KEY: A1_DB2010_36_RED
ERROR: 305013"

i'm not entirely sure if you will be allowed to get help here. Perhaps try traditional phone unlocking forums.

Ah ok. I did check the forum stickies and the main FAQ but couldn't see anything that said otherwise, but thanks for the heads up

easiest way is to davinci - google it. you can flash it with the walkman firmware too if you like.

Its perfectly legal to unlock a phone, as long as its not stolen. Unlocked my k700i then a friends (k700i) using the excellent TotalMultiServer service. You need the following:

Phone
Internet connection - serious!
Unlocking Cable (Sony Ericsson K750i/D750i/W800i/W550i) - £7.95 here
TOTAL MultiServer v2.20 - here
& finally Unlocking credit - here - recommend £25 (5 credits) if you want to upgrade phone firmware, etc
