Unblocking my D600?

Hey all, just a small query regarding getting my D600 unblocked..
I got the phone from O2 on a 12 month contract last January, which is cancelled and took out a new one last December.
In feb 07 work decided to give me a work phone, about damn time too
which was a very very very old nokai, on O2, so i threw the sim in my D600, little did i think, and when i left the company, the sim was blocked, as it would be, but now my D600 seems to be blocked/locked too?
I've tried my O2 sim, an O2 PAYG and my mum's Orange PAYG sim, all of which say emergency calls only.
I wasn't sure who i am best contacting? O2 as i don't have a contract associated with that phone?
Just want to get it unlocked "just because" and as a handy backup should anything happen to my K800i
