Recently upgraded mine and the wife’s phones so now want to sell our old ones which are both on EE and notice it’s easier to sell them unlocked. What’s the best/cheapest way of doing it so I can sell them on?

Thanks for that, I wonder if it’s only £8.99 to unlock wether to just let whoever buys it unlock it.

Would I be ok with the old EE sim or would I need to remove the sims out new phones and put them in the old ones if that makes any sense?

I was on until last month a 2 year contract with EE then bought new phones on EE contracts from mobiles.co.uk, does this complicate things

Have the original contracts been cancelled or are the new phones upgrades?

If they're upgrades it'll be fine. If the original contracts have been cancelled I'm not sure how it works to be honest. With Samsung it's generally a code that gets sent to unlock them so you might be able to use the new contracts to unlock the old phones.

I've unlocked in excess of 100 phones through random ebay sellers without issue. Some have not had the codes once they checked and instantly refunded me but that's about 5% chance i guess, refunds were all same hour I think.

Yes original contracts were cancelled and new ones started, old sims still in phones. I guessing I’d have to insert new sims in to old phones to get them on line to accept unlock codes?
