Unlocking the A400 TDH

Can the A400 TDH be unlocked, i tried using rivatuner and i got some very nice artifacts, could this be resolved my lowering the memory clock, or shouldnt i need to?

are all the A400s pipes broken or is it just my bad luck?

i used rivatuner and there is only 1 pixel unit and 1 vertex unit that was masked, ill try just unlocking the vertex then just the pixel unitm ill let you know how it goes

well everything seems ok with the vertex unit unlocked, but im going to try a game and see if i get any nice sparklies littering my screen

Its sods law so I know ill probably get them

ahhhhh, what do the pipes and vertex units actually do?

ahhh seems obvious really, well the vertex unit works fine, tried it on oblivion, the clocks seem to have lowered dramatically, BUT iseem to get a higher frame rate than i would without it, my clocks are 245/540 but the performance seems to have improved quite an amount

still going to buy a new card though

yes it is, without the vertex being unlocked i can get a lot higher clock speeds, but as soon as i unlock it, rivatuner takes the threshold WAY down, seems to be running way smoother though

leadtek geforce 6800
1 gig of ram

my score was 839

could it be down to the drivers im using?

erm i just decided to disable the masked vertex unit, but wheni realoaded the pc, the thresholds for the clocks were still very low, the mas it will let me reach is 300/600

Ive sorted my clocks and set them to 414/900, and ran 3Dmark05 but i only got a score of 953, whats going on?

i definitly downloaded 05 and yer i put the motherboard drivers on first, would that be an issue though?
