unlocking xperia xz2 on ee

is it possible to unlock this phone? locked to the ee network on a new contract.
its dual sim and i want to use my 3 sim as well.
had a look on the bay and sellers said to do a little test.
unfortunately my phone comes up with 0 beside the network on test, which means it cant be unlocked according to them.

does anyone know a way around this? dont really want to carry 2 phones around with me :mad:

Have you tried EE ? They usually make you wait 6 months before unlocking but worth trying them first.It is a dual sim phone after all.

You can't unlock a phone on EE for the first 6 months of ownership I believe

when i made an account it said there is a six month wait.

That should've rang the bells no?
I believe EE are the only ones who do this with contract phones.

i didnt make an account with ee until after id received the phone. it was purchased elsewhere. i honestly had no idea networks did this. my previous phones from three were supplied unlocked .
