Unmistakably German

It all depends upon what you drive in with and what cars they give out for courtesy. BMW Manchester only give out 1 series.

2001 BMW 330ci - BMW Manchester game me a 116i, it had some kind of kit, upgraded wheels and so on.

2009 A5 - Manchester Audi game me a fully kitted out Pearl White A4 2.0 S-line with 18in alloys and 113 miles on the clock, had it for 4 days as well.

Think yourself lucky, I was given a Suzuki Alto when the Swift went in for warranty work.

The 61bhp was savage lol.

They gave me it with the petrol light pretty much on also, so I put £10 in.... and the gauge didn't move. 10 mins down the road it decided it had fuel in again.

Why did you post the same post again, after I'd replied to you already showing thats not always the case? :p

Posted from my phone in the pub, lol, sometimes it seems to hang if the internet is patchy, so I hit submit again and the rest is history :D

My girlfriends dad got his Freelander repaired and he got a brand new top of the range X5 as his courtesy car! Apparently he would have got a Range Rover Sport but it was on loan to someone else :p

I had an argument with Admiral about exactly this recently, while they were trying to sell me courtesy car cover with my insurance. In the event I prang my Rover 75, the best they could give me would be..... a Citroen C1.
Them:"But sir its because you are <25, who would give you a larger car?"
Me:"Ok, well then Courtesy cover doesnt sound worth it to me" (Not after the stupid young drive excesses & other crud anyway)
Them:"But how would you carry on as normal, if you had an accident"
Me:"Not in a bloody C1!"

See I thought this also.

Ooo they will probs give me the new swift to try and tempt me to buy new again.

nope lol, Base spec (lolz) Alto.

I can understand giving you a crappy car if your car is old and crappy, but for anything less than 5 years old I'd expect something new in the range to tempt you.

I had a 320d M Sport Tourer for a week about a year ago. With the fitted options it had a list price of £32k.

Because it's good business to tempt you into a new car.

Lol @ courtesy car comments. They are not a "courtesy" any more than the heating on a train is a "courtesy"!

Sure, they don't have to provide you with one by law, but then they don't need to take your money either.
