Hi,

Been a while since posting here, great to see this forum still busy.

Ive been using cloning / partition software for years to do clones and also copy partitions manually. At the moment my software is saying the boot partition has bad sectors or clusters and suggesting I use the option to unmount the boot partition to scan and repair it.

Having never done this before, im concerned I may end up with a non-bootable drive, is this a possibility ?

Windows 7 pro 64bit
Software Aomei partition assistant pro

Thanks

Download minitool partition wizard free, load it up.
Click the HDD with the partition
Click Repair MBR
Click apply

I do this all the time when I remove Linux partitions.
