**Unofficial Tyre Thread**

Just tried Lovetyres. I've no idea how they get the prices they do - I paid £197 each for my last two Eagle F1 Assymetric 2's on the back. I've just ordered two from Lovetyres for... £140 each!?!

Even mytyres want £172..

My Asymmetric 2s from MyTyres were shipped from Germany, so perhaps LoveTyres are doing something similar.

I'm in need of two front tyres for my megane 250(mapped to 300bhp, if this makes a difference...) how do people find SP Sport Maxx RT? Or what others would be recommend? Are black circles competitive when it comes to the price of tyres?

Lovetyres seem pretty excellent. My tyres turned up today, the second working day since my order. I wasn't really expecting them until the new year!

Still not sure why they were so cheap

I made a comment earlier in the thread about not really noticing any difference between T1R-s and F1As - have to admit that I driving in the torrential rain that we had yesterday and they were superb, pretty much felt no different to dry weather! Certainly don't remember the T1-Rs being as confidence inspiring in such poor driving conditions.

If all seems legit then might have to use them, SP Sport Maxx's are getting low on the front so will replace to get F1A2's all round. The rears have performed quite well in the recent wet weather.

I've used love tyres.com for my Michelin Super Sports and some Eagles F1s (when I had the Golf). Service has been spot on and always cheaper than the competition.

I ordered my winters from oponeo and they too came on time and were superb tyres for an excellent price!

Two front tyre's on our mk7 Fiesta Zetec S are ready for changing, it currently has Bridgestone Potenza's on there which are around £90 each, should I just go for the same tyre again or can we do better for the money? :)

what size are they , there are definitely better tyres out there than those bridgestones. whats priority grip or long lasting ? or bit of both ?:)

Ah sorry thought I'd wrote it in! They are 205/40/17, a compromise of the two really is what we're after, in all honesty I've no complaints about the Bridgestones, they've done 16,000 miles which isn't bad going.. :)

Hmm, just noticed Michellin PS3 exist in 195/50/15. Fitting my RE002's in February, my PE2's have lasted a lot longer than I expected. ~15500 miles so far.

Any recommendations on a hard wearing tyre for a Audi A4? 205/55/16 v rating. Going to be mainly low speed motorway driving.

Going to start going through this thread now.
