Unplugging pc from mains

Hi all

This may be a a silly question but i was playing around with my plug sockets and accidentally knocked the power cable which caused the pc to power off. Tums on fine when i plugged back in, just wondering if any damage can be done this way? Only had this system a week so excuse my paranoia!

Most modern PSU should be abel to cope with this without issue, but I would not do this too often though

should be fine you can do a standard chkdsk just to make sure no corruption but i hard power min off a lot and have no problems

Its ok, when mine wants to update and I want to sleep, which happens everyday I rip the cable out of the wall... PC still works... few bsod here and there but generally everything is ok.

If you kick the cable only and PC turned off - it means cable is poor quality, assuming cable left in the socket.

Nah the lead came out.
