Unreal Tournament 3 CPU & High End GPU Analysis

Interesting and informative read, its amazing how the 2900xt is actually out performing an ultra at some resolutions and the GTS just cant compete with it.

Also intriguing is the fact that the high end NVIDIA hardware seems to become CPU limited at less than 1600x1200. This leads to the fact that AMD's Radeon HD 2900 XT actually outperforms the 8800 Ultra at 1280x1024.

Yeah the GTS is made to look a bit of a joke and the ultra an overpriced chump in UT3, lets hope its a driver issue eh.


Now if we can get some decent fps in crysis as in UT3, that would be well sweet, the 26th cant come soon enough.

At this stage the game does not support the use of AA and IMO it looks spot on with no AA anyway.
