So, I bought this from the steam sale for £5. I used to LOVE UT, but lost this game ages ago amongst a ton of disks. Hence the purchase.

Now, it's not like I have much going on in terms of games to finish:

Skyrim (STILL!!!)
Borderlands 2
AC3
Hitman Absolution
Far Cry 3

But, I just fancied something a little lighter and this is perfect hehe.

Will there still be many people playing this online? Or am I destined to jump in amongst a bunch of hackers and aimbots?
 
I was going to get this as well, ive no idea if i have played this one before. I remember playing a UT game with tanks and jeeps in a forest area, then one where you could use the hover boards and a bridge map and then one that you can get into the tripot type things.
The multi player in all the above games seemed pretty dead, but i think there are other ways of join UT online games like through gamespy or something.
 
Thats UT3 mate, get it! Just jumped onto a offline game (bots). They are easy, but was a good laugh haha.
 
There's a handful of servers active and as far as I know the IRC community is still around, but the game is tragically short on players on the whole.
