Is there still over 1000 players still on this game? Last time i loaded it up which was well over a year ago before i got a new computer there was still loads of people on there which was amazing for a game that old. What about now?

Yeah, there's still loads of server's going. It is pretty cool for a game this old. Just come from playing some BunnyTrack

Yeah, it's a damn fun game.

Make sure you install the ChaosUT mod, then see how many bots you can suck into the mavity vortex

Sheer class and so much fun...

Gameplay > Gfx.

The sole reason why UT is still going strong after all these years.

Also Fun > gfx which in addition to the gameplay is something that went missing in the later versions, as they went too much for the eye candy and lost the important parts along the way.

Hence why the original UT from 1999 is still being played still today.

UT was the reason i bought a pc many moons ago, seen my brother playing it and just had to get one to kick his ass, that never happened thou till tribes 2 came out lol
