Zirax of ex venom fame here. I do fire it up every now and again for a laugh. IIRC I used to lurk a fair bit on the 3kings (something like that) server. Now I could never top that server as they were pro's, but being able to hold your own on there had a huge impact everywhere else.

There was another chap who was great, infa or infra?
 
I must have about 2 gigs of demos and screen-shots from the Clanbase days. I dunno if the demos still work.
 
I have the original UT disk here, god brings back some memories.

Spent so many nights playing online until 3/4 in the morning, definitely one of those games that i'll never forgot.

Downloading the steam GOTY edition now ;)
 
I spent many a hour/day/month and years on various versions of this, but never joined a clan. I remember on the original version, one guy owned everyone, I think he was the world champ or something and was actually mentioned in reviews of the game. I can't remember his name though, but I do know he was feared. I did manage to kill him once, by a fluke, and felt well proud for a day or two. Wish I could remember his name.
 
5/6 years ago we had an OcUK server. I believe Blighter (now permabanned) organised it.

Would people be interested in this again? It was ****ing awesome.

I remember playing on my ancient (even then) CRT then changing to a Dell 2407 and being horrified at the input lag which destroyed any chance of me being slightly competitive!

Yep going to a TFT totally screwed my aim compared to CRT, If I was going to play is proper again I would need a CRT.

I will be up for some games.
