Unrebootable

Hey guys, ive at last gotten my new pc going and all seems fine except one thing. Whenever i try to turn off or reboot my pc it freezes and i have to do it manually. It gets to the 'windows is shutting down' screen and stops there. Any ideas what could be causing this? Im running an Intel DP965LT motherboard, 2gig of corsair 800mhz ram and an e660 dual core process ( brought in a bundle so compatibility should be fine)

Did you have any BSOD's previous to this problem?

None, this is a brand new install. Gonna update me the bios now methinks. tis a strange problem

this is sometimes because of the operating system. try installing it again and c if it works if not try a different cd to install the operating system. it should sort the problem out.
