Hi All,
Ok, Computers not clocked all that much to be honest.
Specs:
Intel Q6700 - 1.3v - 2.71Ghz
DFI 975x/G
Ati 4870 1GB - Asus dark... - Stock on 9.7 cats
6GB Ram - Kingston hyper - 2.15v
Atrix 800w PSU - +12v1 15A , +12v2 15A , +12v3 12A , +12v4 10A
Seems as though there is enough power.
Anyways had prime 95 on for 12 hours today as well as furmark (stability test) not a single problem running no higher than 61c on the CPU.
However, GTA 4 has died on me a few times just quits to desktop.
And mirrors edge has died a few times today. just crashes and there’s no other option but to hard rest the machine.
I've set all the memory timings to as loose as the moo lets them go. 6-6-6-15
Runnning 800mhz on the ram, 271 FSB.
Any ideas as to why this could be a bit dodgy? Oh, was just reading another thread. Someone mentioned it could maybe be software related? i've had XP on this machine now for a good year and a half.
Upgraded from a GTO800 / 2900XT and a intel 6300 @ 3GHz. Thats setup was rock solid.
Any help / idea will be appreciated. If i've left something out i'm very sorry.
- Liam
