Unsung heroes

To me a unsung hero would be something like a omega. Rwd, good engines, well equipped for not a lot of money and they largely went unnoticed.

I'd define an unsung hero as a car which never got the recognition it deserved. The OPs cars are just heavily depreciated, but well praised cars So really, they'd be either obscure companies, overshadowed cars or commercial failures, otherwise, they'd be well known and hence not unsung
