Not sure what to do i was about to go sli with 2 970s but would need a new motherboard and cpu, so then i thought i was going to get just one 970 but thought again and wondered if a 980 might be better for now, then reading through these forums i see more information about the new 980ti coming this summer and i am more confused than ever about my choices

I want to upgrade as my 6950 is getting pretty old and not getting the settings i would like anymore

Should i Get a 980 now or is it better to wait till the Ti version comes along and live with my 6950s performance for a few more months?

If you can hold on then wait for the Ti or 390X, both will kick ass in the upper-mainstream section

Good weather is nearly here anyhow, don't know about you but I tend to spend a lot more time out and about :)

^^ Or that 780Ti, great value atm for the performance offered

In the same position as you, my 6950 is showing it's age. I'm really tempted to get a 290X now but i'm holding out to see how the 390X and the Ti hold up.

I would get the 780Ti in the mean time! You can always sell it on later and you've for at least 3 months until any AMD news!
