Unsure what to do - went with folding@home

Hi All,

Just jumped back into this after many years out of the game.

I've bought a home server to do some virtualisation and security work with, but until all the bits turn up so i can set up the RAID array, it seemed like a good idea to put the CPUs through their paces.

Its 2xXeon X5650's, so 24 threads are now crunching away for team 10.

Is there anything else out there I could put these to better use doing for a few days - I'm testing stability, temperatures, and noise under load as much as anything !

Folding@home is best done with gpu, we could do with a hand on Citizen Science grid if you can install boinc ?

yep folding on cpus are simply not worth it these days. citizen science grid is something that's been worked on like said above

p.s andy CSG is currently down , so check if you have anything else to crunch, ive added some NFS till its back online
