Hi,

I have been able to get hold of two Samsung SSD 32GB (SLC) drives, but I'm getting some odd bechmark results. They are both in Nvidia RAID 0.

Any ideas why about 3/4 through the benchmark, the speeds increase like that?

Well I already have all the latest chipset drivers etc, still seems very strange to me. I have installed HD Tune Pro 3.50 and ATTO disk benchmark, results as follows:

Got mine too.

1 drive 140-160mb average on HDtach & HDtune.
2 drives at first was 180mb average with 128kb stripe and no tweakin.

2 drives with 16kb stripe stopped the wild fluctuations and with tweaks average read of 230-240mb average. More than two drives saturates onboards controllers, need a dedicated RAID card.

Just one is quick, a pair is stupidly fast, such a great product.

If I wanted to change the RAID stripe size, does it require re formatting the drives?

Tweaks, what tweaks? (My pair were set up with 16K already)
