Unusual for a 2700x?

I remember when these were released the memory controller was cited as the reason for them rarely being able to get to that speed. Recently upgraded my motherboard to a strix 570 and the ram to vengeance rgb ryzen compatible (this stuff) and out of the box on docp it's hitting this:

So 3591mhz (more or less 3600). This down to the ram or the motherboard? I'm guessing more the motherboard.

Memory controller is on the CPU so I'd say that plays a big part.

It point blank refused to work at that speed on my crosshair x370 with my other vengeance rgb ram, that ram wasn't ryzen certified though whereas this "pro" stuff is.

Might have spoken too soon, had a couple of freezes in bfv and dumped to desktop.
