Hi all,

Looking to get a monitor, rip it apart and use the panel to make a photo frame for the house (fed up with the high price, mediocre quality and dubious subscription models of the frames we've got)

Could anyone give me some advice on good monitors I could get that would fit the bill, I guess in my head this throws up lots of things that are suddenly very useful and some common features that become irrelevant - therefore finding the ideal feature Vs cost of monitor becomes tricky.

Needed - high Res, high viewing angle, low 'glow' ie as much as like paper as possible, so technologies that give off less light would be better IMO

Not needed - refresh rate, latency - really makes no difference given mainly static images with brief transitions.

Size initially would be 27 inch upwards, but would build to suit all.

Appreciate any advice on all the acronyms - ips, oled, gsync etc as a bit out of date on these
