Unusual Programming Languages ...

Thought it might be interesting to hear about any "unusual" programming languages people are using or have used. I'll start off with Go from Google - it's just reached version 1 and seems relatively easy to learn.

Ah, I was really thinking along the lines of useful languages that are "less common", maybe I shouldn't have used the term "unusual".

Been around for a while and still used in some form or other by most large financial institutions.

One of the co-designers was a woman, Grace Hopper

I used to work for HP back in the 80 in the development team using COBOL

Also used to write in DBASE.

I've never strayed into unusual programming languages, unless you count mathematica and labview

At Kent Uni we learnt a variant of Occam called Occam-π (pi). It's a natively-parallel language originally used to control safety-critical systems. The only language I've used where indentation impacts upon the flow of execution
