Upgraded my bigwater 745 water cooling to a cutom setup which i will list below, only problem is it idles at 50C and is about 77C at load!

E6600 @ 3.2GHz
D-tek FuZion CPU Block
Laing DDC pump with Alphacool Top
Thermochill pa120.2 rad, cooled by 2 X Silent Eagles
Swiftec Microres

Feser One coolant and Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste.

Ive heard about FuZion blocks being lightly bowed and its worth rotating them, could this be the problem? HELP!

There is something massively wrong there - it must have air in it or something? That's a terrible temperature for that setup. I take it the pump is switched on? I see those sorts of temperatures on my system without the fans running, and I've got a Q6600 at 3.8GHz.

What were the temps like (idle/load) on your old cooling setup?

120mm yeah? are they Silent Eagle 1000's or 2000's? (rpm)

Cant remember temps from before but they were a lot lower and they are 1000's mate.

Anyway just had a look and some muppet didnt put enough AS5 on  ;)

Idle now @ 40C, Load @ 60C. happy with that, do they seem reasonable to you?

60°C load is within specifications but personally (being an overcooler) I feel those temps are warmer than they could be and thats on 'Air' cooling. On water I would expect even lower.

Nothing is badly wrong there so if u wanna chill out and game etc go ahead and relax, however if you actually enjoy fiddling with PC hardware then I would say there is scope for improvement still :)

Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 120mm is a bit of a mouthful ain't it

Hmm, well im glad ive got it down 17C from Load thats a start. What do you recommend i do next? Lapping the processor ive seen done, but do you mean "improvement" as in tweaking the loop, reseating stuff etc?

Yeah they are a mouthful to say too hehe :D

I don't know very much about Water-Cooling so hopefully some of the guys that do will drag themselves away from the mince pies and come and offer you more advice! :)

Until they do I suggest you crack on with some 'gaming' stability testing lol :D
