I volunteer for a small charity and their website seems to be attracting unwanted spam emails.
The website was built with serif7 and isn’t a professionaly bought site, just a volunteer run/built thing. Can anyone suggest a way of helping to stop the spam emails please?
They appear to be being collected off the site pages and there are also random names @ emails being sent too.
Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks.

I would if they are being sent from the site its self though contact us, slap a captcha (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html) on there to prevent bots spamming you.

If it is also self hosted emails, get something like spamassassin installed on the server to catch a lot of the spam, This will require root access, or get the hosting company to do this.

Change your e-mail configuration as well so that you don't have a catchall for @yourdomain.org.uk set up. Then when spammers guess or invent an e-mail, it won't get through.
