its red, I couldn't find a pic of a red one for my sig (much the same as hilly I guess as his is black iirc) but I take your point, it does stand out a bit.
 
I'd vore for option B. He just sounds like an interested chap who wanted to talk and act like he knew his stuff :)

And they do a 1.4 Focus Sport :)

Yea chill out a bit, I always get people asking about my bike, and mine is still in my garage. I get people asking abot my car too, but thats only asking why vast quantity's of smoke comes out of it and why the RH headlight dosent work, and why the numberplate is hanging off. lol :-) RUN IT UNTILL IT DIES!! (might have to fix it soon)

yea, only cost me £150 and its lasted me 4 months already! still going strong! If I do the Head gasket it will last me until the MOT runs out next june probably. not bad going for 150 buff. I keep meaning to do it! Gets me to work when its raining while I sort my finances!

Maybe he was going to steal your "milk/beer etc.." and talking about the car was just a diversion.

Seriously though, I would get a cheap 'co-op' run car. Just until the heat is off yours.
