up grading motherboard some info pls

i have decided for my next upgrade rig to go for the Asus Z77 Sabertooth.
now do i keep my sandybridge i5 2500k or go for the ivy bridge chip?
will i see much diff if i go the ivy bridge way?
can anyone recommend a good cpu cooler that will fit into a coolmaster haf 922 case if i go ivy bridge

Whats your reason for "upgrade" because it wont be a massive one if all your changing is Chipset.

If your gaming etc just save your money mate.

I wouldnt bother, my IVY runs hotter than my old SB for little or no benefit
