This really is shaping up to be a good year concert wise for me - just purchased tickets for Runrig at Edinburgh Castle on the 26th July :cool:

This is a band i've wanted to see for years - now all I need is for Iron Maiden to play in Scotland this year

Saw Editors at Alexandra Palace on Weds night, was good apart from one of the engineers spilling a pint over the sound deck effectively ruining the last song and the encore.

I just bought some tickets for Black Kids at the Newcastle Academy 2 after seeing them on Jools Holland last night...

Only £8 a ticket and it's a Friday night so even if they're pants it'll still be a decent drink

Yeah it was a brilliant night - he played quite a few of his new tracks along with quite a few oldies as well.

Telegraph Road, Romeo & Juliet and Brothers in Arms were all fantastic to see live. Here a pic taken just after Going Home from Local Hero:
