Upcoming Concerts

The Monkees in May :D

Was going to buy tickets for them.
However without Michael Nesmith it's just not going to be the same.
Arguably the most talented and certainly the only one who could "play" his instruments - it's like watching Queen without Mercury, Stones without Jagger, Beatles without Lennon, etc.

But I hope I'm wrong and it's a good gig :)

I had my doubts about this one but just couldn't resist. We may be pleasantly surprised, anyway it's too late now. :D

Nice, seeing him a week on friday in Dunfermline. Let me know how it went :p.

Saw the naked and famous last sunday in glasgow they were great but the set was abit short.

heh, we saw Miles walk into the Leadmill tonight, he was right in front of us:p

relatively short show, but he doesn't have many songs yet... finished off with Inhaler as predicted, was great, band were great too:)

Saw Taylor Swift tonight :D yes I did!!! Lol

It was great, and just like how you see her on TV. Sang the best tracks from her new album and 4 singles from her last album. Not a particularly long gig, about 80min, no breaks in between apart from a couple of minute for wardrobe change.

I wanna go again!

God i like her a bit too much lol

Saw Horslips (accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra) in the Waterfront Hall on St Patricks night, was very good indeed, tickets were free which made it even better!

Eric Clapton will be in the Odyssey, Belfast on 10th May, so will probably go along and see him...

The Vaccines tonight in Glasgow. Pretty awful.

I didn't mind the album, few decent tracks on there. Live was a different story. The lead singer seemed like he couldn't be arsed, moaned about his voice and guitar, sounded crap, mucked up lyrics, played terribly. On the plus side I spent so much time bored looking around the club that I noticed for the first time that ABC has a wooden roof. Won't be rushing to see them again at the festivals this summer.
