Upcoming Concerts

Saw Feeder this week, nothing special.

January - Two Door Cinema Club
May - Muse
June - The Killers
June - Glastonbury [based on rumours and supposition hoping for Fleetwood Mac, The Killers & Kings of Leon]

Went to see Cheval Sombre last thursday in St Pancras church, gig of a life time! Can't quite describe how good it was.

Also saw Moon Duo a few weeks ago in London, also quality, though 3rd time iv seen them and it was the first that was sold out. Don't like everyone being in my way...

Next up will probably be Hawkwind in Bedford late January :D

Jealous.

Was it good?

Yes, atmosphere was great, proberly because it was one of the last gig's they were both doing. Can't remeber the setlist but they did get a few random songs in they don't normally play. The whole crowd singing to Falter was the highlight. Hell Is For Heroes were good as usual. Don't understand why they are both quitting when they get crowds that big.

Very jealous. I love both bands. Takes me back ten years ago to my favourite era of music.

I will miss Hundred Reasons so so much, got emotional hearing all those songs again and pretending to be a 14 year old again. There aren't many records I truly adore but that one really did help shape who I am today as a person. I'm sure everyone at the show last nignt will also feel the same way.

Nooooooo!!! just tried to buy some and seems Deftones are all sold out, anyone know if this is true or if more tickets are likely to go on sale? looks like its viagogo.co.uk for me then :(

It's been a bit of a gigfest for me over the last few weeks... I've recently seen:

Tower of Power @ Shepherd's Bush Empire the other Sunday
The Mingus Big band @ Ronnie Scott's last week
The Mozart Festival Orchestra playing Handel, in full 18th Century costume in Northampton

Coming up:

Steve Harley @ The Stables in MK,
and War of the Worlds live @ the NIA next weekend.

War of the Worlds at Nottingham FM arena on the 4th Dec , cant wait although the missus is a bit miffed that Gary Barlow wont be there.

Wanted to see Steve 'Cockney Rebel' Harley at the Stables as well but it clashed with War of the Worlds :(

Going to see Thin Lizzy @ The Limelight, Belfast on 12th Dec...

Will be interesting to see what they are like with the present lineup as compared to when I saw them in late 1974...
