Went to see The Toasters at Junktion 7 (Notts) on Sunday.

All I can say is the best live act I've ever seen. (In a small venue). If you get a chance to see them, you have to go.

Had NOFX the week before who were very good, not the best set in the world, but still good.

Paves the way for QOTSA in a fortnight

Indeed. Plus they took ages for the Encore! I left mid way through the last song to beat the traffic leaving and I think it was a wise move.

Where abouts were you? I went for standing, but after listening to the other half whining about her feet I think I'll take seating next time!

Seated about halfway up block 5 on the right of the stage.
Prefer to stand myself, though always get seating when with the missus for the same reason.

Just got back from seeing Stereophonics in Nottingham.

They do seem to put on a very good live show. Couldnt pick fault myself.

A varied mix from all of their 6 albums.

Ended with Dakota which got everyone out their seats and rocking. A Great way to end the show.

They were supported by The Enemy who I thought were OK, never saw them before. Their drummer seems very good though.

Want to see 'Phonics in Cardiff on their next tour if possible.
